I have been scratching my head ever since Martin showed me his Flea Circus.

Recently received my Cigar Box Flea Circus. Own a Mossman as well. Both are outstanding examples of fine workmanship. Thanks to Martin for all his help. These are simply the best flea circuses out there!

I've had my medium Mossman for nearly a year, and I'm very pleased. It has brought in a lot of work and nothing but praise from the public. The variety of acts allow for a fun filled show of reasonable duration. The Circus is very reliable and easy to use. All praise to Sven's workmanship!!.

I now have a large Mossman and a Cigar Box Flea Circus. They are very different but share the same high quality of manufacture. I am delighted with both and with the helpful and friendly service I've had from Martin. It seems that nothing is too much trouble. Thanks.

Ive had a circus for just under a month and already I have booking to appear at Christmas Fairs. I have recouped a quarter of the cost already and am looking upon it as a very sound investment.
A couple of things I have done to the set up is to add a yellow spiral to the ends of the barrel that rolls. This means the audience can see it rotating as it goes uphill and do not think it is just being dragged in one orientation.
Another addition I have made is to get some micro machine toy cars which are the exact scale of the flea circus. I got 6 of ebay for two quid and on of them was yellow and red, just like the livery the back drop has. These crs have a very tiny screw on the underside. Removing this makes the wheel chassis free and I have added a small strong magnet in the recess. Its a bit fiddly and you have to get the polarity right but when it is assembled again you have a car that is the right scale to be placed in the circus ring. The flea pulls the chariot but pushes the car. Or you can say he's driving it I suppose, although some audience may question the propulsion if the flea's inside. Kids particularly like the idea of a car moving.the only part of the car on the circus ring are its wheels which can been seen rolling but the magnetic field is strong enough to connect and the car can whizz round the arena. I think its a vey good addition to the props the circus comes with. Anyone with a circus is welcome to try it. It also works as a freestanding effect with a PK ring, again as long as the polarity is right.

A quick report on the progress of my Svenson Flea Circus - I've now got the patter down - er - pat, and yesterday presented it twice at the Brighton Children's Hospital. It really is the PERFECT way to entertain a bed-ridden child. You can also have a few more kids gather round to watch. And it works between two beds, so two kids who can't get up can watch it at the same time.
Everyone gets right into the concept, adults and kids alike. The kids can really see the fleas! I make sure there are a few "look don't see" moments - the football kick, swing, and see-saw didn't seem like real circus stunts to me, so I have the fleas mess me around, and kick the ball instead of walking the high-wire, etc. This adds some nice comedy moments, and keeps it from being a series of things to watch - it turns it into a proper show.
The kids' reaction today was brilliant! They SCREAMED with laughter at the antics of my fleas - never have I gotten such a massive reaction from kids in a hospital. For a few minutes they completely forgot where they were, and became totally absorbed in the flea circus. I've realised that some of the stunts can easily be repeated - especially the high-dive, which they adore. It's also very funny to pretend the fleas are constantly trying to jump onto someone, taking an early lunch-break!
Now that I'm using the Flea Circus fairly regularly, I'm realising it's full potential. Compulsive viewing, and VERY funny!

The Flea Circus also came into its own again the other day at a gig where there was NO space for my regular show. I set up the circus, and gave several performances, with balloon twisting in between. The clients were delighted, and it made my job a lot easier!

Martin you have a great product there. Flea Circus - now that really is bizarre!

I'm tellin' ya' the pictures do not nearly do it justice! This is one of the most astounding props I have seen in a long, long while! The fine detail, craftsmanship and luxury appointments are a long-lost art in today's instant world! It is great to see fine workmanship and pride in ones work is still alive in the world today!

I just received my Cigar Box Flea Circus, and I have to say it is an absolute piece of art! I can clearly see the great care, time and detail put into it. The set up is simple and the operation is clever. Plus I can easily hide the control panel in the back keeping the mystery of the flea circus alive.

Then, there is the Box of Fleas! Wow, this baby is beautiful! I can use it alone or with the flea circus, giving a breath of life into my performances. I can not thank you enough!

I HIGHLY recommend Sven’s flea circuses to any collector or performer who wants something totally unique to show to family, friends and clients. Unless you live in my area of course!
